Duane was my "across the street" neighbor on Indiana Avenue from the time I was born until I married and moved away. I had talked to another neighbor, a January 1960 graduate, Dee Croley Karkau, about two years ago and she had seen Duane fairly recently at that time. I was sad to hear that he passed. His very close brother, Tony, had died many years ago. Duane and Tony had new 1960 Chevy Impalas, Tony's a red and white convertible and Duane's a turquoise blue and white hard top. Beautiful cars! Nice boys! I wish Duane would have been here for the reunion. He will be missed.
