I went to school with Ed at Mt Hope, then French to Eastern. He was a pretty good french horn player. I also played with him quite often in the Morley S. Oates post 701 National Band during the 60's and 70's. If memory serves, I think we may have had Cub Scouts at his house.
I lost track of Ed for many years, but heard he had fallen on hard times before his death. He was a unique character, all right.
I have so many fond memories of Eddie. I knew him from the 3rd grade (Mt. Hope Avenue School) through Eastern HS. Then we lost track of each other. Eddie was mischievious, bright and always ready and willing for a good prank. That's why we liked him. --Bill Noack
