Jo and I were friends going back to Allen Street School. Thru junior & senior high, she, Lucy Whitney, sometimes Pat Mayes and I were our own little clique. Jo & I became pen pals in our senior year with a couple of sailors -- she married hers and moved off to Montana and raised a family. Sadly, we lost touch over the years. I am glad we got to reconnect briefly at the last reunion. I have many fond memories of Jo, the parties at her mom's house, the apartment we shared for one whole month in downtown Lansing, and the naive times of youth.
