Dee and I were best friends in grade school, Grand River Elementary. We always used to run home at lunch time to eat and watch an early soap opera, The Egg and I. We lived in the same north end neighborhood, she on Ohio Street and me on Oak Street. We spent much of our time together doing things that girls do. I lost touch with her through the years and was thrilled to see her at the 50th reunion. I tried every way I could think of to contact her before the 55th reunion, but without luck. I think of her often. She will be greatly missed
