I am honored to submit the following comments and memories about Tom by his special friend - Colleen McNary:

I am writing to you to share the story about Tom Pallick.  We were fortunate to share the last twenty five years of his life together.  Sadly, Tom passed away August 14, 2008.

I would like to take this opportunity to share with you a little about Tom's life.

Tom had three kids, one daughter and two sons.  He waited very patiently for grandchildren and finally he had two beautiful granddaughters, Tara and Zoey.

Tom worked seventeen years at General Motors as a Tool and Die maker.  He also had three successful businesses:  Point Sinclaire Gas Station, Tom Pallick Auto Sales, and The Paint-Hers.  Tom was very good working with his hands.  There was nothing he could not build or fix.

When he was not working, Tom did have quite a few hobbies to keep him busy.  He loved sailing with his buddies Ed Tank, Jerry Gordon and Jim Hayes.  He enjoyed golfing and owned an extensive coin collection.  But his favorite passion was cars.  He loved to fix, race and collect cars.  Tom also loved to watch Nascar.

Tom suffered a stoke in 2001 which left him partially disabled.  That did not slow him down as he still found many activities to keep himself busy.  He was working very hard to overcome his disabilities and achieve his goals when he was in an accident that took his life.

If Tom were here, I am sure he would come to this reunion to see all of you again.  He shared a lot of fond memories and good stories about his high school days.

I hope after reading this, it helped you know Tom a little better.  He was a very special Man and is missed so much.  I hope he left a mark on some of your lives like he did on my life.

 Have a great reunion!

 Colleen McNary
