A big shock to hear that he passed away last month. We had been sending jokes and stuff back and forth

for several years and I had wondered why I hadn't go the usual material and other info. Don was an "extended" neighborhood friend and classmate at Mt Hope, French and Eastern after which we went our separate ways.

Apparently he had a great family and life in Florida, but was still interested in what was going on in Lansing and especially Eastern current troubles.

I also grew up with Don in the Mt. Hope neighborhood and went all

the way through school with him (except kindergarten).  He was always

a loyal friend through the years and he will be missed by many.
