Charlotte Fern Reynolds, Lansing, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 21, 2015 at the Sparrow Hospice House of Mid-Michigan with her loving family by her side. She was born on February 8, 1941 in Crites, West Virginia to Evan and Ada Colegrove. She graduated from Lansing Eastern High School in 1960.
She enjoyed worshiping the Lord, having bible studies and spending quality time with her children and grandchildren, whom she loved and adored.
On May 6, 1967, she married Russell "Jerry" Reynolds and they had four children, who survive her: R.J. Reynolds (LuAnn), Jr., Suzy (Troy) Westmoreland, Julie Reynolds, Josh (Katrina) Reynolds; 13 grandchildren, Jessie, Caleb, Trent, Taylor, Hunter Marquis, Kyler, Evan, Russell III, Anthony, Luke, Elaijah, Jozlyn and baby on the way; brother Russell Colegrove and sister Sue Royston; several nieces, nephews and many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Evan and Ada; the father of her children, Jerry Reynolds; sister, Jerrie Smith; sister-in-law, Carolyn Colegrove; and niece Debra Bolton.
A Homegoing Celebration is scheduled on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Abundant Grace Faith Church, located at 5750 S. Cedar Street in Lansing with visitation one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Church or the Sparrow Hospice House.
