Born on April 26, 1942 i n Owosso, MI, beloved mother and grandmother, Bonnie Basso died March 27, 2005 after a brave battle with cancer.  The daughter of the late James and Ella Basso, Bonnie graduated from Lansing Eastern High School in 1960.  She retired in March 2003 from the Holt Kroger store where she had worked for 30 years.  Bonnie was a deeply spiritual person, an avid gardener and tremendous animal lover.  She is survived by her brother Edward James (Carol) Basso; her childern's father Daniel Lindemann; her four children Scott (Janet) Lindemann, Dr. Dana (Dr. Steve) Shuey, Lori (Tom) Tsaparas, and Amy Lindemann; five grandchildren, Rachel Lindemann, Katie and Jack Shuey, Mykala Tucker and Marshall Tsaparas; and one great-granddaughter Kylie Sorrow.  A memorial service will be held in Bonnie's honor at 10 AM Thursday, March 31, 2005 at Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.  The family will receive friends one hour before the servie. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Capital Area Humane Society.
