Judith "Judy" Ann Allen Lansing Judith "Judy" Ann Allen, 71, died peacefully on Saturday, December 07, 2013. Judy was born November 4, 1942, in Lansing, the daughter of Clarence L. and Virginia M. (Ryal) Alexander. She graduated from Lansing Eastern in 1960 and shortly after married her high school sweetheart, Walter J. Allen. Judy worked at Lansing Electric Motors for nearly 30 years before retiring. She was an avid gardener, grew orchids, and enjoyed decorating their home. A glass of wine and politics in the evening with family well represented her sense of humor and wit. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Walter J. Allen; son, Michael S. (Holly) Allen; daughter, Leslie A. (James) Bayles; and granddaughters, Elly and Anna Allen. She was predeceased by her brother, Rick Alexander. A natural burial service will take place on Monday, December 9, 2013 in the Meadows of Ridgeview, Grandville, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to Capital Area Humane Society.
